The reception was fantastic, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a delicious treat, and the honesty bar added a charming touch. Our room was clean and spacious, complete with air conditioning and a balcony that offered a breathtaking view of the landscape. A perfect escape!

peaceful retreat

Perfect for couples seeking relaxation

The old trees surrounding the property created an atmosphere of peace and privacy, which I really appreciated. Susanne's attention to detail during our breakfast was impressive, from the perfectly cooked eggs to the variety of fresh fruits.

It wasn’t cheap, but you know what they say, sometimes you pay for quality and service.

Had a lovely stay, the breakfast was spot on, heaps of variety! Just a bumpy drive and a few hiccups with hot water. Would definitely recommend!

friendly host

Just a solid selection for a temporary stay in White River with definitely value for money. The breakfast buffet was simple but good, just what we needed before heading out. Be cautious on the road if you're driving a low car.

The breakfast options exceeded my expectations every morning. The property is beautifully kept with lovely landscaping and serene gardens. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and communicated well from start to finish.

There were minor inconsistencies with the hot water during my stay.

inconsistent hot water

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The road leading to the lodge was quite challenging. it felt like we were driving into a forest, and the steep incline at the entrance made it cumbersome. the inconsistent hot water during our stay was a significant annoyance, likely due to load-shedding. To top it off, I found some ants in the kettle in my room, which was quite unsettling.

we had a fantastic stay at white house during our city break. the gardens and views were stunning, and the spacious, clean family room exceeded our expectations. breakfast was plentiful and delicious, so our kids really loved it!
